Well boys and girls, even with all of the current mods, we are still short of 300 whp and not into the 12's yet, so I think it's time for a 32v swap and boost in search of 10's, I will be getting a built short block, ported heads, stock cams. and a procharger d1sc, there will be a some time lapse in these mods due to cost and I'm working off a military income. Of course we will be going with long tube headers again. We'll see what happens.

A few decimal points would put me in the 300 range, I'm sure we could lean the mixture just a little more and get there and still be safe, but the richer misture I have now was to compensate for some future mods, that will wait.

Danm it, don't ask questions like that, I'm using this to justify the 32v motor. :lol: Realisticly if the temp dropped a couple degrees I could be over 300, and if I spent some more time behind the wheel I could probably get it into the 12's. But i wanna go quicker then that.

I can tell you 2 mods that will drop you 3-4 tenths easily........I ran the bbk intake and it isn't bad over stock...(about 5-6 ponies) but if you go with the AFM N/A Power Pipe and a Professional Products Pro-M 80 MM MAF you will open up your HP throughout your power band....It will be worth at least 15-20 more ponies around 4300 rpms and 20 more Tq. Just changing that over my BBK and C&L 85 MM Maf it dropped me from 13.6's to 13.3's and with a good dyno tune and MT's set at 14psi......12.90's! alot of people said it wasn't worth the money..........well 7 tenths between intake, maf and tune...
I have a buddie.....Gustang .....lol he has the same combo on a 98 gt vert running 14.1's......AODE with no stall.......his showing before that at the track was 15's...lol It's a great combo and Just an idea if you decide to change your mind on the 4v swap!

Well Ed, you saw what I'm plaqued with right now so no more racing till we find out where my power went and what the hell is causing the detonation. The car is running rediculously rich, yet I still had detonation all teh way down the track. On D/R's I can easily get into the low 13's but as you saw last night something is really wrong. I'm calling Dan today to see if he an double check the tune that he sent me., just to make sure he sent me my file and not accidentally someone else's.

Hope you have a better tuner than we did...he was a complete jackass plus a few other things I will not say right now, gotta save my energy to go a couple of rounds with Darren.

Forgot to update this with my future plans.Updated on the first post.

Also when we got it re-tuned we made 277/297 at the wheels.
