Has anyone here removed the spoiler off the trunk lid???? I saw one in town today and I liked the way it looked, and I thought about doing it to mine. Anyone who has removed thiers, what did you use to fill the holes?

I think you can by some type of plastic hole cap at home depot.

I removed mine. Got some hilman nylon plugs from lowes. 3/8 and 5/16s. Not sure what size yours are since you have a different wing. You can kinda see them here. Dont mind the dust.

I love it!!!! I will probably use the rubber grommet method, but I will keep my electrical tape handy!!

Took mine off just left the holes empty. But Darren (88GT) going to hook me up soon and get them filled in!! :mick:

Got electrical tape on mine lol, hopefully I can get darren to fix mine when I get some paint updates done soon.

Personally, I don't like the look, but, it's your car. You could do it like Swervo did, or you can have them filled and painted by a body shop.

i personally dont like spoilerless stangs.
but its your car and if you want to do it thats all that matters.
