Cutting Springs

Before anyone says do it the correct way. I do not plan for the car to be a road racer I just want some of the fender gap removed.. I have had cut springs on my cobra for a year and half with no problems.. If you cut your springs how much did you cut and if you have pictures post..

I cut a coil from my 2" lowering springs in the rear, to get the advertised 2" of drop out of them. I used a cut-off wheel, it took about 3-5 mins per coil.

start small. you can always take off more, but you can't add anything back.

that is more than a coil up front.. i cut a coil n it came down a few not that much then i cut a second n i sat just like this one before he went to lowering springs

its a custom shop that just opened up on queens blvd n they are actually doing it..its right nxt to my boys shop..not a dump at all if u see the place the front is finished they are now working on the sides...:beatup::rotfl:
