90 honda civic hatch

I got I a guy at school that says he drives that car, a 90 honda civic hatch, and says that he races. He said that he took a mustang gt, stock, and a Hemi. So I asked him what he has done to the car, and he says nothing. He said its not vtec, its not turbo or anything. I told him he was bullcrap..lol DO you guys thank thats possible. I think even with a bad driver a Hemi should still take a stock civic any day.

in a 90 civic hatch that is possible, if its modded...moderately, cam, head work, headers, full exhaust, weight reduction...or a motor swap...it is possible and cheap but takes work..my friends civic hatch with b16/b20 we built can do it...but then again it also puts down 235 hp and has been gutted out

i used to have a 99 honda coupe, built with a turbo...never ran it at the track, but had some fun nights on the highway in mexico..i put down 303/290 @ 18psi with 93 oct. and the car weighed in at 2100 lbs with me in it

first of all the civic has green wheels so that makes the race unfair right away. but really, that car was gutted so i wouldnt call it a street driver. if you have to take the power steering, a/c, interior, and bumpers off a car to make it fast then you need to start looking for another car.

Ok blue reef the problem I was ranting bout was hating on v6's. I had one andnit was quick now I would not trade my v8 any day for my 6 but I was happy with the 210hp 233 tq it had. V6's are not junk. I just hate seeing people bash the v6 I give respect to the car for what it is a mustang. I don't hate Hondas either. They have their place and I rather like the sound of vtec. I wish people would stop hating and enjoy cars regardless if it's a grocery getter just look at the nomad that's a bad ass grocery getter. I applaud people for being motorsport enthusiasts. What kind of advice can I give the guy to get it fixed. too buddy i didnt say that i couldnt afford one....self to note that i am in flight school spending $xxxx monthly just on flight lessons....so congrats....not including when i do buy a cobra it will live in the garage most of the time....and will be no where near stock....besides the piont thats cool what yo owned at what pay grade...i just have spectations and requirments for my cobras...:usflag:

you got that right....i dont know if that prices varies upon states but its about 4500-5000 for your VFR's...then bout 7000-8000 for your second set (which is what i am working on now) IFR's...once you reach this stage you can go dual-engine or commercial.

I can't wait to get a stang, but im going to try and plan ahead and once I get a job, which should be soon, and get a savings account, and get about 2K in there and then start another one and start saving for the mustang. So with what I want to do, its going to take me a long time till I can get the mustang that I want. It sucks but thats my plan.

Yeah thats what I think. The only reason im wanting to get 2k in the savings, is for emergencys wo if anything happens I want have to go into debt to be okay. I think this is a smart way to start out life, so im going to try to follow along with it as much as I can.

yeah i completly agree.,....just takes a while..because that is what i did.
I really don't care what im driving right now, with the way my car looks right now, people don't bother me anymore about making fun of it. I just say well its paid off and gets be where I need to go. And tell them to get the crap away from me if your like that..hahaha My car is :yocool:

Yeah thats what I think. The only reason im wanting to get 2k in the savings, is for emergencys wo if anything happens I want have to go into debt to be okay. I think this is a smart way to start out life, so im going to try to follow along with it as much as I can.

When it comes to money, I know I can save and wait. You can ask my dad, im TIGHT AS CRAP when it comes to MY money. If I see something I want, and I have the money for it, I still want get it, I will do without and go for the big picture. But thats just me.
