97cobra and 03-04 cobra

getting ready to supercharge my 97 cobra and i was wondering if anybody knew if you could take the upper intake and supercharger off a 03-04 cobra and mount directly to the lower intake of a 97 cobra.....and if you cant do it directly is thier any way without changing the lower intake?

It is more complex than just trying to bolt on.. You would have to change heads,timing cover,upper and lower intake as the 03-04 has the intercooler in the lower intake.. If I were you I would buy a vortech or procharger if you want a centri. blower.. If you want a roots type get a kb..

As a side note I am in the same boat.. I just don't have to change heads on mine if I go with a eaton from a 03 cobra.. But there are about 40 items that has to be bought to make it work..

get a KB .. The only motor you can take the 03/04 upper off of and put on is the 01 Cobra Motor or the Mach 1 motor ... There are a few things else to do, but WAY simpler than the 97'

easiest thing to do would be an 03/04 cobra motor swap. they say its much easier than doing a blower swap.
