I have removed the rear seats, as I am a tall person, and with the front seats all the way back only small children will fit. As I have no children, the rear seats were not important to have in the car. I have installed all of the stereo equipment where the seat bottom used to be. I have the rear seat and all the hardware to reinstall it for anyone that purchases it. The interior has been partially converted to black. Whoever painted the kick and rear quarter panels did not prep them correctly, and the paint is flaking. Due to the cold weather, I have not pulled them out and repainted them. When I installed the stereo system, I painted the center console. I used DuPont Satin Black that can be purchased from any store.

This car is very quick, even with the factory 3.08's. Traction is something of a limited commodity in first and second gear if you really stand on it. I have a double return spring so in order to open the secondary's, you really do have to stand on it. The pictures show the mufflers hanging obnoxiously low, and this is because there are currently mid-length headers with mufflers bolted to those using the factory single-hump crossmember. I am going to be changing the exhaust out to what I have listed above, if it warms up this next week.

The car has been repainted to a single solid color, it looks to be the factory correct (or close to it) light canyon red color. According to the door and buck tags, it is supposed to have the 1984 RS only (less than 3700 made this year, and this paint scheme was only offered this year) tri-color paint job. This would have been a silver lower, light canyon red upper, with an orange and red tape stripe dividing the two colors, and an orange and red RS decal above the 5.0 emblem. My plans are, if this doesn't sell or trade, is to repaint it back to factory specs.

The AC compressor is still in the vehicle, but I think the rest of the AC hardware is gone. The heater is not hooked up as well. This is how I received the car. When I tested the blower motor, it did not work at all, even though the fuses were good. I have not had a chance to check it all out, and this is why I have not hooked anything up yet. I usually wear gloves and a thick jacket when I'm driving and it's ok. There are no air leaks into the car, so you don't have any wind chill factor.
