Got me a new project!!!

I went to HS with a girl that drove a '65 Mustang. I of course was made friends with her. I think we last seen each other in '99. I recently found her by Facebook. We have been typing like before. I brought up her car. She then tells me that her dad bought it new. It was parked in '95, & hasn't been touched since then! That right off was bad, to me. I think I let that sink into me brain for about 2 days. I then asked her to ask her dad if I could restore it & use as a DD? Long story short, he agreed! Here are the 1st pics:

As you can see, 15 years of stuff on top of it. Mostly like empty folded up boxes & light stuff. I already have a truck & a trailer lined out. Kinda messed up my foot. Letting that get better, then I will go help him dig it out. I'm just very excited! It will still be his car, I can drive it for as long as I want though. See ya!!

He will never sell it. I just want to see it on the road, not parked in his garage. Since I don't really have the $ to buy one, next best thing. This way I can get it back on the road, & drive it for as long as I want to.

Don't think y'all are grasping the story. I live in a town of about 3,100 people. Everybody knows everybody. Even more of me because I was a hell of an athlete in HS. Know how big sports is in TX? I have known this girl for a long time. Sure we've been out of touch for the last 10 years. Again, small town so she understood my prob. She even thought I might not even had remembered her. There's no way I'd forget that memory!! I am more than happy to pour most of my $ into it. It is her car her dad says! If not for my idea, it would have just sat there for 14 more years. No tellings if it would ever drive again. They are more than happy letting me use this as a DD, for as long as I want it to be. Not like 5 years, like for life if I want to. They are just happy I will get it on the road again.

We still have dirt roads in my town. I am all the time seeing someone riding a horse. Kind of town where there is still a lil bit of trust. I don't, more about me though. See ya!!

you want to spend your money fixing up someone elses car and driving it until they get mad at you or she dumps you, or something along them lines. :ok:
