I believe he took off a rusted vinyl top roof off and put a good one on. The first batch of pictures has 2 different tops.

Yes the original roof had to go. My parents back in the late 70 or early 80s had the vinyl replaced and the shop didn't do a good enough job

Ill tell you that I didnt know kevin before I dropped my car off with him. He was recommend to me by a friend of mine. I originally was just going to get him to put the roof on and primer the car, that was it. Then he started fixing dents and I started seeing some of his other work and one thing lead to another and and I got not only a friend but the only body man that will ever touch my car again. He is a super great guy and just loves making old cars beautiful again.

Its a stock ford color used on s197 stangs. Its called tungsten grey
