Who ha rebuilt a steering control valve before?

Went to get Jenns 65 inspected today and found out that hers was bad. Real bad. Ordered a rebuild kit because a new one is almost $300. so does anyone know how the hell do you rebuild them?

I have never rebuilt one -- got a new one from Flaming River a while back.
