99 cobra body swap to 03/04 cobra

im in the middle of purchasing a 99 cobra right now..should have it in the next week or so..yeah i know its not a terminator but its a start..i dont want a basic GT..so this is what i got..but im gunna start switching the body over to the 03/04 cobra style almost immediatly...any concerns? anything that is a pain? anything that wont work on this or wont line up right? just doing the body for now..performance stuff is after...thanks to all replys..i really appreciate it..thanks again

It should work ... maybe a nut here, a bolt there, nothing to major ..

it pretty much a direct bolt on, but like Brian said, if anything its nothing to major.

I think the only thing that is different is the front bumper... If you don't use the 03/04 hood you will have to modify the front bumper.. If you do the complete bumper and hood no problem... I have the rear bmper, mirrors and side skirts from a 04 on my 99 cobra..

havent heard from him in a bit. not sure if he went with the Cobra tho.

just an fyi, i did a complete swap on an 04 gt, and made it look completely like a cobra, and the only thing that was a hang up was the connectors for the foglights. the gt's use a different bulb. i had the donar car right there though and just borrowed the harness's too. the swap is easy though. from the mirrors, to bumpers, to sideskirts to side vents. all in a days work!

put up some pics looking for rear bumper but prices are crazy have front bumper installed already got front cheap from ebay cant find reasonable rear bumper

you won't find a reasonable priced one unless it is used.
