ok I'm not up on best methods of stripping paint on fiberglass .... I have a Saleen/Cervini wing that I am repairing..... it is currently near the color Calypso Green .... my 93 is white and the wing will need to be stripped and repainted.... what should be used, is fairly easy, and not so time consuming?

if thepaint is in good shape you dont need to strip it. sand it with 400, seal it with a white sealer and paint the *****

what about bumpers? what would you have to do to strip the paint off a urethane bumper?

bumpers dont sand away like fiberglass. Fiberglass has to be stripped evenly so you dont make waves in it. It takes time. I do fiberglass by hand if it has alot of curves. If its pretty flat like a hood I use an air file but it still takes hours. Bumpers can be stripped chemically with a bumper stripper or done with a DA sander and 80 grit followed by 180, but then it has to be primed and sanded again. Fiberglass will also have to be primed and sanded again
