Do we have any 60's cars with mod motors in here? My dream is to have a 66 Faskback with a modular 4V. Let me see what you have!

It's a tough project. They're so wide you have to do surgery on the shock towers of a Mustang even to fit a 2v in. Therefore it's exceptionally rare to see one. In years of going to Mustang only car shows, Goodguys hot rod shows, and other events, I have yet to see one in the flesh.

Yeah. I am in love with the idea... seeing how much we can get out of them I would love to do it.

We have several in our club (NTMC) - I parked next to a really fine '66 coupe with a Bullitt motor in it. The guy said the hardest part was the front suspension -- there were NO shock towers at all.

There's a guy on SVTPerformance thats putting a 4V in his 60's stang. I'll try to find the link....he's posting it up daily as he goes along.

I haven't attempted or seen the MOD motor (only in the magazines) but I have finally figured out the route I am going to go with. I am going to do the 88-93 5.0 swap on my 70 . . fuel injection, and finally a tranny w/ overdrive. Apparently this swap . . not so so hard . . the MOD motor, I can't imagine!!!

of course I can't start the swap for another 4 months (see location)!!!!!!! Oh well at least I can start identifying and tracking down parts.
