Possibly for sale if the price is right, my son is interested in selling his 84GT, He and his wife are stationed in Kansas and with the way things are going they are looking at making the military a career so he won’t have time to fix his first car up the way he wanted to. I’ll be headed up to Kansas this weekend to spend a week up there and discuss a price. The car is in San Antonio and he is looking into getting a 2004 and up.
The Car:
1984 GT 5.0L AOD Hatchback
Power Widows/ Power Steering
New Panasonic Radio CD/player Pioneer Speakers
Original color was Black
5 lug conversion done by previous owner.
Not to sure on the original miles
About 6K on a rebuilt engine.
MAC Shorty Headers
MAC O/R H-Pipe
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
March Polish U/D Pulleys
Seats and door panels are from an 85, grey with red Striping, with original Halos from the 84.
1st update 26June08
New Energy Suspension End links
New Front Sway Bar Bushings
New Outer Tie Rods
Double Hump Tranny Crossmenber
External Fuel was remove and a fuel pump and fuel lines where installed in tank from a 91 5.0 to provide room for the Catback and true duals.
2nd Update 08July08 New Pics
Those wheels are not on the car anymore.
Welds and Nittos are not included unless the price is right. The Nittos are brand new with less than 500 miles on them
Front 15x3.5 5 lug 5.5 backspacing
Rear 15x8 5 lug 5.5 backspacing
The car is not perfect and will need some work to get it back safely on the road: The potential buyer and I can discuss the items needed to get it going, and I will always be available to answer any questions that may arise after the sale is done, whether by phone or in person. The car runs strong for its age and he got a lot of compliments on the way it sounds.
I know I’m leaving stuff out but I will get more pics up and updates as soon as I can and once I come by from Kansas and get it all cleaned up.
Thanks for Looking,
Rich
