why headers and not a tuner pack?? tuner packs are cheaper and will give you more power amungst other things.

No problem with the tune you'll forget about the headers won't be disappointed at all.

really, as far as the S197s go i've been told that things like aftermarket throttlebodies and spacers aren't cost effect (money to HP wise) until you get FI of some type. so really all i can tell you to do would be look into headers and a good mid pipe combo, gears, shift kit for the auto, and of course you need the tuner to tie it all together

I agree with the custom tune and gears. If you're running an automatic I'd suggest 3.73 and if you're a stick then 4.10. The combination of gears and a custom tune will really wake up your car.
Also, I personally suggest getting the FRPP gears, as the S197's feature a different gear cut design and I can tell you from experience some of the gear packages offered by aftermarket companies (like Motive) will whine. I bought the Motive gears first and then switched to the FRPP for that exact reason. Just my two cents worth.

has anyone done a dyno with and without the tuner? what the HP gain? I know when I took off the mufflers I saw a great improvement, what will this 4.10 and the tuner do?
I love the fact that you can turn of the traction control (called the HOLY CRAP HOLD ON FOR DEAR LIFE) button. thats a great thing because my GF knows when im about to do something stupid because I hit that button first.. LOL
