yep, my TOB is howlin' like a coyote and the clutch smell is still in my car after the 2 burn outs at the track and hard launches...

i sent her out in style atleast lol I guess if i can convince John as to be so kind i'll be gettin' the fidanze 4.3 clutch & pressure plate, aluminum flywheel, TOB, TOB retainer sleeve, and the 26 spline input shaft in my car next weekend.

Oh yeah, and my drag radials are too tall, i lost 8/10's off my street tire ET and 10 MPH:michael: but i cut 1.8x 60's both time i launch so she's gettin' there even on the IRS. Man i want a SRA so bad lol

clutch is right at 24,000. about half of which has been making then 468/461 that i do now. and i'm on 275/50/17 M&H Racemaster Drag Radials...they're a 28" tire and too tall for me so i was launching the hell out of my car but lost 10MPH and 8/10ths from my street tire tires in my sig.

yeah, if i would have gone ahead and done 4.10's like i thought about a while back they would have been fine...but i'll probably either get rid of these tires or keep rollin' around on them until they're gone and then i'll look for some of the 26x10.5x17 M/T ET Streets. i got these knowing that they flexed a lot like a bias-ply tires (like the ET Street Radials) but hoping they weren't too tall. so the 26's ought to cure that greatly, and i ONLY drive the car about 4 or 5 hours total a week and that's cruising around tyler here which is still only about 100 miles maybe? and then it sees some track time so the regular ET Streets won't bug me any being out on the road.

Michael was having that tire problem also. He had M&H 325/45/17.......and they were huge. Something about M&H....good tires but bulky compared to similar tires.

Hey man, I had a guy that wanted my IRS in trade for the SRA out of his Bullitt. I changed my mind, because I had someone interested in my car, but I think this guy is still up for the swap. If your interested let me know and I'll give you his info.

i'd love to but it would have to be a local guy or i'll just find a junkyard GT and build it myself. That way there no shipping of rear ends or meeting and having to swap or anything like that. if i swap local or build my own the car will be down all of a day tops. Thanks though :mick:

I have been trying to decide if I want an IRS for my car since I am more into round track than drag racing. My rear is already built with all new stuff 3.90,31 spline axels and a explorer trac\loc but has had a vibration in it ever since the rebuild, I think he did not tighen down the crush sleve properly or get the right preload on the gear. I have the driveshaft that you would need to fit it (I have a t56) also.

All I have to do is decide if I want to go to the trouble of changing it at the moment.
