well i am going to have a new hood, front bumper, and a new fender. but that is not counting the trunk where i took my spoiler off. but i am going to have those holes welded up so all they have to do is prep it and spray it. and yes i want the doors done too.

1200-1500 is a good deal. Thats a great deal actually if its done right. 600 wouldnt buy everything needed. almost, but not quite

He'll go in the hole unless he gets all the materials for free. If he happens to, he will make minimum wage at best

changing colors is a pain in the ass to do. we just finish a 85 mustang color change at 2400.00 with a very little body work. so 1200to 1500 is a good deal.

94greenhunter
04-28-2008, 08:39 PM
yea i have noticed. so would it be considered a color chang to make it darker.

94greenhunter
04-28-2008, 09:17 PM
the tail lights i want them painted black and i could just paint under the new hood black that is no problem. it is not like i am going to put in any car show.

man, all I can think of is a taxi, you know, where they paint a yellow car, green and every scratch or nick, looks like florecent? I hate color change.. better paint, better setup= better outcome. good luck

PS is there someone down near San Antonio that is good at paint, my 95 vert, needs painted, thanks.

Dayum, It's 600 just for the paint for sure, not including labor. I just got a bid to repaint my K1500 Silverado ( different color ) 6 months ago and the guy wanted $ 4200 I know It's double the work to change colors on a car for sure.

That's Dark Highland Green (DHG) -- The same color I'm going to paint my '83 when it comes to that. That color is :harold1:

I've attached a copy of the data plate if you're interested in the paint code, etc. :david:
