Looks good but is that not FRPP?
its the Bullitt brace ford part# 8R3Z 16A200 A - retail $174.55
it's stamped Ford Racing and is the same as the FRPP V6 brace which
retails for $195.00
it's the brace used on the 2008 Bullitt minus the numbered plate, you have to show the vehicle registration to the dealer to prove you have a real Bullitt before they will order the plate.

looks like you have some wear marks on your plenum cover. you should paint that to match the car, you did such a great job on the brace, think I will follow in your footsteps. thanks..

How much room between the brace and the plenum cover?? Can you post a pic showing the clearance? :marc1:

I touched up the rub marks on the cover from the GT500 brace that I originally had on my car, and I also found a Ford oval from a hubcap that fit perfectly on the brace, I think it looks alot better, I have about 5/8" clearance between the cover and brace.

I just installed a V6 strut tower brace on my V8 with our Plenum Cover. Because the V6 motor sits higher than the V8 it allows for more clearance. It's funny that Ford makes both a V6 and V8 strut tower brace and both of them work on a V8. Here's a pic of my recent install.

Very nice detail to your engine and the underhood look.
