That in an S197 if you spin through first gear to 7k RPMs, spin through 2nd gear when you hit 6500k rpms the enigne goes POP and shuts down?

It started right back up but it was wierd

sound like you need a tach with a shift light. bouncing off the rev limiter isnt the healthiest thing.

but we've all made that mistake tho. no biggie.
