Engine Brackets

OK, my 65 used to have A/C but it was cobbled together at some point and didn't work very well so I left the underdash out. Today I took the compressor and brackets off to clean up the engine compartment. Problem is I need the alternator bracket and pulleys for the NON A/C 289. I am left with pulleys I am not using that were for the A/C, doesn't hurt anything but looks kinda crumby. Anyone got an alternator bracket without the extra pulley on it?? I checked the parts houses, haven't found one yet.

ive got the one on my 68 but u cant have it i'll try to remember to check with some people this weekend and get back with you my papaw might have one he has a couple of parts cars up on the mountain

FRPP used to sell the bracket you need.I haven't looked lately to see if they still have it. You may give that a try.

You may end up having to try Mustangs Plus, Dallas Mustangs, etc. to get what you need...I'm headed up to Dallas Mustang next week myself to pick up a water pump pulley.

That is more than I needed, just took the A/C compressor off and was eliminating the excess pulleys, thanks though. Found one at Texas Mustang Parts, chrome no less :marc:
