I told our friend with the mint black 86 Capri about US as well. He is the original owner of his 86 Capri.

I hope the guage set up works great for you. I really like it a lot and love the fact that it utilizes the factory guage bezel, which I really like.

I appreciate the compliments on the car. I really love my Notch and over the winter started to clean up the engine compartment and take out all of the old emission controls that weren't connected. It's looking better already. My plan is to pull the motor in Sept and have the engine bay sandblasted and painted now that I have an engine stand and cherry picker. That will definitely put some finishing touches on the car. I also have to change the intake gasket, but I already have everything to do that. I just want to drive the car for the cruising season and enjoy it.
