Actually with the hood down using a 2.8H, the whine is hardly noticeable. I wanna say it's because with the 2.8, your not straining it as much as compared to the 2.2 or 2.4 making the same boost.

idk bout that. you take a 2900lb car(with me in it), a fully balanced and blue printed DSS 331 stroker, F cam, St2 TFS heads, St3 Cobra intake that made 362rwhp in an 88GT that ran S/D with an automatic and stock manifolds, full max motorsport suspension 3.90's and then a 150 shot...... no matter what, it be good. you'd deff have me on top speed tho.
