Help I found a 1990 25th ann. stang and want to know if anybody has had any problems out of these.
What are the major problems wit this year ??

I belive this was the 1st year for airbags ??
any problems with the airags??

This is going to be my 1st stang and was just checking history on the problems..

its a 1990 25th anniversary mustang 5.0, 2 tone blue and silver, it has a rebuilt motor and 5 speed tranny, about 16k on the miles, i just put a new stereo in it, and it has 2 dumped flowmasters 50 series, it sounds really nice and loud....

THANKS

Yes, technically according to us humans it would be. But evidently the wonderful people at Ford can not count and they made the 90's the 25th Anniversary. Ford considers the 64 1/2 as a 65 so 25 years after that is the 90.

ford released the 25th as a 90. i heard there was a story beind doing that, but for the life of me i cant remember nor am i gonna take a stab at it. but the 84 was the 20th if ya'll remember correctly.

90's are good years.... 88 is the worst.

Some of the 89s were anniv. cars too.The only way to tell is to look at the dash under the pony it says 25 years

Would not really know unless your inside of it.No markings out side to let you know.

My 90 has the 25th badge on the dash. Seems like someone at Ford at that time needed remedial math class.

Not really 65 was part of the first year of production.Which would make a 90 a 25th anniv.

well whoever said that this was the last year of forged pistons is wrong...the last year was 92...ford also in 93 started changing the way rated HP and the hyper pistons dropped it down to 205hp but to tell you the truth its the same damn motor..

any of the 89-92's are really the best years...they have mass air which takes best to mods, they have forged rods and pistons, they have the 8.8 and some gt's come with 3:08 gears and others are usually 2:73s...in 90 they also changed the interior very minor, and also if im right the 90-93 front fenders were a little different..

looks wise 87-93 are the same and 85-86 are the same and alotta jumbling before that...btw 85 and older has the 7.5 rear end and 84 had the first year of the 5spd...

91 and up had diff. fenders because the pony 5 stars had wider tires.
