Flowmaster Catback Questions

I have a 347 powered fox and i want to get new Flows cause i just like the sound they make.

What i have is long tube headears and h pipe and with 2 1/4 catback 3 chamber flows on it.

I have jet hotted my headers and h pipe so now the rest of the exhaust looks bad.

The rest of the system could not be jet hotted because it is too big for the tumbler and cutting in pieces is a royal pain and i don't think anyone makes a paint or coating that will last.

The only other thing i can think of is just getting a new catback system with maybe a 2 1/2 inch diameter or should i go 3"?

What i don't know is which muffler as i bought my current flows 10 years ago and i know they have changed drastically in what is available.

I have 3 chambers right now as it was pretty darn loud and i just want to avoid attracting too much attention.

What suggestions do you guys have based on what i am looking for?

If it matters, i like a very deep aggressive sound just not loud.

you might try some 2 chamber flows, you might get info on this from others as they check it out.

well if you dont wanna go louder then what you got.... stay with 3 chamber and deff dont use SLP :lol:

what size is the h-pipe???? if its 2 1/2 then go 2 1/2 out back as well. but if it is 2 1/2... then dont use a 2 1/4.

if you want it quiter then what you got.... get some dynomax mufflers or walker quiet flows.

if you want kinda loud...spintech and magnaflow's arent bad

if you want pretty loud 2 chamber original 40 or super 44's

if you want really loud slp lm 1

if you want super loud (almost as bad as open headers), LT's, O/R X, SLP LM1

i've seen a couple of that lou's place's work...from what i've seen they suck...a $450 cat-back, with knock off flowmasters and 2 1/4 pipes into a 3.5" tip is what they did to my ranger before i got it...had no motor at time...but 2 1/4 pipes wont work well with 375hp motor...also those flowmaster wanna be's look like flows sound like magnaflows...
