Nemo installed another mod this weekend....WELT!
First of all, what is welt?
Welt is a cord type material for use in upholstry.
Today, the latest mod seems to be installing matching exterior color painted welt in the S197 interior door panels to give
our plain black interiors a custom look.
If you have a premium package you can pop out the carbon fiber panel and stick the welt stitch tab between the insert and door panel.
It has been said that you could'nt install welt in a non-premium interior because the door panel is one piece.
After working out the problem I found a solution and the welt was installed.
A word document is available on my newly created website if you need directions, it's link is....

The welt really is a nice subdued accent.
You can pick-up welt online or at a furnature refinishing place.
