Ive got a 93 Notch with a carb'd 302...my buddy has a brand new weidn blower, model number 177 (i think)...regardless im wondering since i am yet to find a blower like this for ford...if they make an adapter intake to fit that one onto a ford 302? anyone ever head of this??? And also...if running a blower like that...would running nitrous through it be a good idea? i know ive heard of it but never seen it. Thanks - Josh -

have you tried contacting Weiand about this or checking there website?

maybe try sending them an email asking.

as for the second part, you can do it with the right type of crank. some i belive are ment to be used with NOS and no other sort of power adder, and some that you can use a blower or turbo but not NOS. gotta find one that will handle both. (thats what ive heard, ive never claimed to know everything tho )

maybe you can email them about makin an adapter for a 302 ford

i also seen this
http://www.carbdford.com/viewtopic.php?t=12090&view=previous&sid=73f62c5f1b9cabf7ad092d5973 65d835

I used to have a built 85 with a big ass Weiand on it, so I know the stuff exists to do it.....whether it is still readily available is another question...I sold mine almost 20 years ago.....It was mean, tho......ate the rear end the first time I put it on the road......I never dyno'd it, and only got to make one track pass with it.....ran a 9.53.....tech guy met me on the return road and said "Put it on the trailer and don't come back without a cage".....An older guy watching tracked me down from the truck tag number and bought it three weeks later......

you can shoot NOS into anything you want, you just have to have the right parts to support the power.
