Ok guys for those of you who do not know I bought Andrews (tangerine96gt) car (2000 GT) from him about 3 weeks ago. Ever since then I have been working on getting it ready to paint and am finally ready. It is getting apinted tomorrow by me and my dad at his paint and body shop. Anyways here is my idea and I was wanting some second opinions. I saw this on SVTP and everyone there really liked it! DSG on top with DSG fr500's.. I also wondered what I should use to seperate the two colors? Suggestions on different schemes welcome!

In my honest opinion.... i say switch the two around.. put the silver up top and the dsg on the bottom... it would be cool =D Secondly i dont know how good you are at fading.. but i would just do a cross fade... it would look wicked..

Im not really diggin that scheme, but body lines are about the best place to change the color, or you could use a narrow pin stripe. Fox GTs looked good 2 tone because the door molding and ground effects made a nice place to start the 2nd color

I am also tinting the tail and headlights and painting the mirrors.. One of the main reasons I thought about DSG for the top.. I kind of wanted the black out look. The bottom has to be silver because I dont want to paint door jams.. Open to suggestions and photo shopping.. here is the original pic!

That is a good looking color but I am trying to use colors that I have on hand which would be most all Ford colors.. That is why I thought DSG.. I could order some though.. Is that a porsche color?

well the color on the porsche is a porsche color, but its still your basic slate grey.

I like it, I would pic a color that pops to separate the two. Just a small pinstripe of say orange or red would do the trick and add a splash of color. Pick your favorite and go with it :mick:

here's some pics of a gray Foose that has the orange pin stripe separating the stripes from the body to give you an idea of what I mean

I think a red pin-stripe would look killer seperating the two color's.
