I put my fenders on today, the driver side went on fairly easy, but it looks off.. I remember you telling me something about pushing and pulling one of the lower tabs, but don't remember if it was the car, or the fender tab. (you'll see what I'm talking about) so here it goes.. name that adjustment.. Fender adjustment or door adjustment?

The gap seems big to me, but I don't know.. I never measured it, I just eyeballed it for now.

Align the door to the quarter, then the fender to the door.
Looks like the top of the fender needs to go back (towards the door) just a bit. Tighten a few of the upper front fender bolts to keep it from going back foreward. Then (with the bottom bolts by the rocker loose) push down on the top of the fender and tighten the upper fender bolt by the upper door hinge.
Then use a block of wood and a hammer to pound in the bottom flange to get the lower fender flush with the door. You will probably have to pry out in the middle of the fender. Do that with the lower bolts loose. Might take a few tries to get it all right
you might want to take the car off the jack stands to make sure the car isnt twisted a bit

hmm.. The bolt by the upper hinge I think is at it's full adjustment point (meaning it wont go any lower)

I'll drop it off the stands and check the alignment again. I have SBC's welded in so it shouldn't be twisted any, but just in case. I'll get back to you.

it doesnt need to go much lower to get the body lines in line. you can make the hole in the fender a tad bigger to get more adjustment. Its almost there up and down

I think you mentioned that, but you aint doing body work. your just hanging parts :nanana: Replace a roof and a quarter panel. Or better yet fix one that really needs to be replaced :blkvnm: Painting is mo fun tho, I will admit that

if I'm hanging doors and panels, I consider it body work. lol! and I hate it.. to be honest, I'd rather paint.
