Ok today i was ripping out the rest of the stereo equipment in the trunk of the 95 and i came across these 2 plugs that i have no idea where they go. The connectors are the same on them both but one is attached to ground and the other branches off the harness for the trunk. I guess they arent that important if they are disconnected and the car seems to run just fine. But it would be nice to know if anyone knows what they are for. Thanks.

No it wasnt a factory system. The guy before me had it in there. That stuff wasnt connected to anything though. I just saw them sitting there and thought it was odd.

then its probally something that belongs to the factory system.
did it originally have the mach460??? one might have been for the factory amp and the other for a diskchanger?? :dunno:
hopefully somebody can give a better answer.

That sounds like i could be possible. Yeah it had a 460 system in it. I never really knew what was included in the trunk with the mach 460 option.

if it did then its only for the mach460 system. just wires you dont need unless you put another one back in.
i belive the amp went under the back seat and the cd changer was in the trunk. dont quote me on that... ive never spent much time on a SN-95's stereo before.

That looks like the connectors for the amps that were in the amp rack that was under the rear dash ...

That's correct... the Mach systems had a common ground and amp leads ... the common ground protected the speakers from alternator whine
The Mach1000 had leads to the amps in the trunk, and the Mach 460 had leads to the amp under the dash...
