Im not sure if its the clutch line or.. just me. But about every 3 weeks or so... when i get in the car. My clutch peddle will be extreamly easy to push in.... and slowly over that first week.. it will tighten back up and build up some resistance. Then 2 weeks later... ill get in and its really soft and almost mushy. Is this a hung up clutch manual line? or do you guys have any ideas as to why?

New clutch cables aren't expensive. and it beats getting stuck on the side of the road. replace it, and before you put the new one it, spray white lithium greeas in the house and work the cable back and forth.

the cable getting tight then loose its from stretching, your next strech ight be the cable snapping. ive done it 2 times.

Same here. one was in my driveway, thankfully. the other I was coming to an intersection and I put the clutch in, SNAP! I had just enough momentum to get out of the way.

on the 2001's to the 2004's, the clutches are self adjusting ... pull the pedal towards you until you feel it budge a bit ... try that first.. if it does not fix it, then you may need to leek at getting a new quadrant and adjustable clutch cable .... OR, your throwout bearing is hanging up ...
