I am looking for some better handling. Well I figure what could be better than the ford racing handling kit? Have you about anyone that has gotten this? What did they say? Just based on what it is, do you think it is a good deal??
Go here to check it out.... http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField= 5740

might be a good deal, price the parts alone and see what they come out to be. as if they will help you handle better i cant say, they might they might not. only way to find out is getting them and trying them out.

i know in one of the last 5.0 magazines they had an s197 with the suspension pack and power pak on it and they all loved how it felt. this package your talking about looks almost the same...their is no reason it shouldnt help your car handle better...it will just to what extent?...its got all the right pieces to do it....

Since I want it to be a smoother ride should I put on the sway bars or not? I heard that you feel every bump with those, but it helps you in the corners. I dont have a lot of turns in my daily driving, but I should do have a lot of bumps!

That is basically a Mach 1 suspension kit.

Springs are where you get the rougher ride from, not sway bars. they help you corner better....
I'm not sure of anyone using it, because most of the people I know, either peice thier suspension systems together (like mine is) or they buy griggs, or maximum motorsports.
But like Ray said, it looks lie the mach one kit, which is just fine for what you seem to be using the car for.
