hey i found this online...will this work for my carbed setup? looks like it has the same connector on my distributor; for those of you who have done the carbed conversion before.

i kno i dont kno everything... but wouldnt a ignition module for an EFI car only work on an EFI car?. i kno ive never heard of it workin on a carb car. i could be wrong, idk :dunno:

That's what the older stangs use. my 81 (carbed) had one it it (factory), I would honestly look for an msd 6al, vs that duraspark setup. That is some OOOOOOLLD technology.. it "should work" but like I said, you're better off getting a 6al.

yeah...dont have enough cash for an expensive ignition like that..i just wanna hurry and get it dropped in so i dont have to be all paranoid about code compliance slapping those green stickers we all love so much. MSD will come later, though, trust me.

Have you searched ebay? I got a flaming river manual rack (brand new) for almost half the price. Also check the classifieds on www.corral.net, www.hardcore50.com, www.racingjunk.com etc.. mostly the racing forums classifieds have the MSD's for cheap because people upgrade and the 6al is no longer usefull to them. just an option though.
