Ive noticed lately that if i apply a a lot of force.. like.. 60 to 0 in a short ammount of space.. my hand break light, lights up. Is there a reason for this?

i have recently noticed this too in my 97 and was wondering but now it seems to have went away or i have not noticed it lately

The most common cause of this is that your brake fluid is not filled all the way to the max point and under the stress of heavy braking it trigers the low brake fluid sensor.
