Haaaaaaaa, nice title huh?
Anyhoo, while disassembling my front end to get ready for QA1 coil overs the bottom nut for the QA1 strut fell. Usually it's not big deal, just find where it fell and go get it. (You know how it is when you drop something it goes where it shouldn't?) Well, Im looking all around the spindle, ground, nothing. GRRRRR. Where the heck could it be???
Now, as I spin the rotor I hear it tumbling around the "hat" part of the brake rotor. No big deal, just pull the dust shield back a bit and get it. Not happening? Great, now I have to pull the bearing dust cover off, take the cotter pin off and remove the rotor for one little nut. Geeez, just what I always wanted to do, regrease my bearings. Screw it, the front could use some new rotors anyhow. Pics to come tonight.

Speedfreak, you are a genius! I'll get the sawzall out and cut me some holes in the floor. This way I can just Fred Flintstone it! Little steel plates on the bottom of my shoes and people will get out of my way when they see the sparks.

Well a few weeks ago we drove to Indiana to do some repair work on my Father in law's 94 Ranger. One of which was to repack the wheel bearings.. None the less I took the drivers side off first a few spiders nothing too extreme besides the rust.. When I got over to the pass. side and pulled the rotor off there was what was left of a rat that had crawled up in the backside of the rotor to stay warm well apparently he did not get out when the truck started to move.. Wish I would have taken a picture now..
