Its an A4LD,weak kneed ***** of a trans.
Basically a C3 with overdrive.They dont like alot
of torque.

Thanks guys. I can't keep driving a stick, so an auto is a must these days. I'd like to find an auto trans to bolt behind this thing.

Negative.
The proper 2.3 or 2.0 bellhousing will allow you to bolt a C4
behind it but you will lose the o/d.If you want to wait there a 2 people
working on a 2.3 to 5.0 adapter plate so you could use an AOD behind it.
The A4LD will be good for minor mods but it wont stand too much.(you really should do 3 inch exhaust all the way back,good for 20 hp)good tune,and a front mount ic.
