Just finished driving my car with the new Saleen Supercharger in it. I love it! It sounds great with a nice whirrly sound when you give it gas.

I have to change the blower pully before I dyno I put the wrong one on!

I should be at 6.5 psi.

Thanks for the kind words!

Ok here is the dyno sheet. The numbers are impressive but I wanted about 40 more HP so I will probably end up upgrading the pully and belt. The car could have done higher numbers but we were keeping it safe.

The car is so much fun to drive around!

Not to shabby at all! It is amaizing how quick it gets addictive, I upgraded my pulley after 2 weeks :)

Congrats on the numbers :mick:

great numbers man. What caused that spike in power? What was the A/F ratio? Who dyno'd it?

I have to talk to the company that gave me the tune still but the car was running rich. It was dyno'd by carolinachassisdyno.

i drove the car for 100 miles to work today and it drove awesome.

Travis is great. You may want to consider just having him custom tune it for you.

I will but he said it would take several hours, he doesn't have a default tune for 2007 so he would have to create one. I didn't have several hours but I will go back eventually.

Get the manufacturer to email you the raw file with corrections, and then just give it to him so he has some where to start.

Haven't updated this in a bit. I decide to order the 3.4 pully, belt, spark plugs, and GT dual fuel pumps. They will be here today!! I will start the install tomorrow. I'll post the dyno when it's done.

You should be seeing ALOT more rwhp than that......

It's so funny to hear people say that. I spoke to Saleen and they said my numbers sound spot on. I also spoke to brenspeed who said the numbers are good for an automatic. When I was dyno'd I had some issues with the install. 2 locations wern't air tight. An another hose seemed restricted the way I had run it. I reworked all this stuff and the car seemed noticeably quicker. Will see saturday

The box with the sparkplugs were in was crushed so I have to wait until saturday when the new package should be in. (sigh)

Good point on the auto, they loose about 5% more HP in the driveline than a standard. What gears do you have?-Shane

Ok here is the last dyno sheet. On order is a saleen inlet tube. This dyno sheet is with 7 HT0 spark plugs and 1 original plug. One of the HT0's was cracked so we couldn't leave it in. The numbers were still growing at 6300 so I'm happy with it now. In the next 3 weeks if all goes well I should be installing kooks headers and X pipe so that should be fun.

I'm running the stock gears for an automatic.

It's a ton of fun! 2 weeks I will be installing kooks header and Hpipe, possibly X pipe if the price is right. My saleen Inlet tube will be here tomorrow. And I installed the new spark plug yesterday.

I gapped my spark plugs lastnight and along with the inlet tube I finally hit 10 PSI not on the dyno. I'm going to be changing my oil to XPR 5w30 Royal Purple hopefully that will give me a little more kick. I can't decide if I should pick up the BGG 8 RIB kit or the headers or tires and wheels ... sigh

Here is the most current dyno wasn't to much fun that night

Installed Kooks LT and kooks xpype removed cats. The dyno session was very bad, using the same dyno lock tune I used previously caused my car to run way to rich, which in turn made the wideband sensor on the mustang dyno to halt the test. I then installed the New tune brenspeed sent me that disabled the o2 sensors. The car was still to rich at 10.8 but we got 2 pulls. Here is one of the dyno sheets. New dyno sheet to come next week after my car is tuned on Thursday.

On a site note my c-series ducktail should be ready tomorrow!! I remove the spoiler tonight woohoo.

edit; the jump in the graph is caused by using an automatic with no dyno lock. We saw this exact issue on 2 other mustangs both were 2008. My first dyno session was with no dyno lock and this is exactly what we saw soon as I got a dynolock tune from brenspeed it all went away.

Did ya stock gears in an auto? Going to 4.10 gears from stock is like throwing your supercharger on. Its the biggest bang for the buck. I had 4.10's before and after my SC install and its incredible. Plans for the change? Even 3.73's would be great.-Shane

I'm running 3.31's I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon. If I did it would be to 3.55's.
