What is your opinion on Hpipes, Xpipes.. which one would be the best for the 02 gt.. I want something head turning sweet, deep. :)

Okay, also, so its not a huge crisis... but I want to represent US, and everyone is talking about these stickers and license plate covers... Where can I buy mine!! Help please :)

If you want deep go with the H-pipe.. If you want loud, go with the X.. A lot of it has to do with the mufflers you are runnin too.. And as far as buying US gear, it's on the homepage under "popular links." :mick:

Word h pipe gives that more classic rumble, and the x is loud and higher pitched usually. I have an x on my Bullitt and love it even though I'm a fan of the H, usually run h pipes with my tail pipes dumped on the old fox body.

h-pipes sound good with baffled mufflers like flowmasters.

I have an x-pipe on my car with a Bassani cat-back. Do a search for my posts and find my sound clips.

As for teh stickers, shoot a message to BlkVnm or GT4Her

I'm getting "Brand happy" and will only settle for what I feel is the best from my research... I want the Bassani X-pipes, I'll remove the former flowmasters and replace them with God knows what..(I'm so new to the replacement parts I honestly am wingin it here!!) .. The boyfriend (yes, the stupid one thats still getting the camaro) thinks its not the brand that matters ( :lmao1: ) because there are others out there that will be just as good. Am I getting to be too "high maintainance" for my car? I don't see a problem for wanting the best for my car (regardless of it being a GT and not a Cobra or Roush) help again please!!! :) lol

well. on my fox coupe I have kooks custom long tubes (you don't need those. lol!) custom x-pipe and a set of dr gas spintech street mufflers dumped before the axle.. I plan on wearing ear plugs to drive the car..

For a mod motor, basani x-'s and a nice set of mufflers of your choice would be goo.. nice raspy sound especially at full throttle. the headers are what come off the motor..

I think we are all ruling out how amazingly badass a set of SLP Loudmouth's (1 or 2's) sound with an X-pipe in front of them. :mick:

i was just trying to show you dont have to have expensive exhaust to sound good. also depending what you have 5.0 or 4.6 they both have their sounds. i know people that have gotten rid of their X pipe on their 4.6 cause they didnt like the way it sounded.

So what's the real purpose the x or h pipe, versus just having true duals installed?
