FrostyEOD and I will be installing a full suspension on his 06 GT and I wanted to know if there will be any specific areas of the installation that will more than likely be a pain in the backside or if there are any easier ways of going about the installation that the instructions will not address - any thoughts?? Thanks

Moved this for ya. I recemtly found a full write up on the S197 suspension, I'll find it for you and post a link.

It was pretty easy. 5.pyscho and I did mine not to long ago. We did the Saleen suspension kit, and it took us about 3 hours on a lift. Largest pain in the ass is the front. Back was really easy. :-)

3 hours...that's not too bad! I am guessing that he and I will tackle his suspension next weekend and we will have access to a lift at the auto hobby shop so I'm hoping that the time frame you quoted will be something to shoot for! Was there anything that you guys had to work through beyond what the instructions stated, i.e. anything that required ingenuity to work beyond or any additional tools not originally called for?? - thanks

No, pretty straight forward. Decompressing and compressing the springs is a pain in the ass though. We used the one at the dealership (fried works for Toyota) and it was still a pain. Don't forget to put bump-stops on. I forgot. Doesn't do anything, just annoying.

Bump stops?? Do these come in the suspension kit?
