My saturday was filled with workin on my car the whole day. I had to drop my k-member again and remove the passenger long tube to get to my throw out bearing. My new pressure plate is ruined along with the bearing. Note that all this stuff is new, centerforce dual friction clutch and bearing. I had all this stuff changed out when I did the LT's so I wouldn't have a problem in the future. There was nothing wrong with my old centerforce clutch. So I put my old pressure plate back in and a new bearing and back on the road. And now if feels like my new set up is slipping. :tantrum:
I just don't care now, it drives fine and it gets me to work.

Just a lil rant.
Here is a pic of the bearing.

I put a Centerforce Clutch and Throwout bearing in my car when I did my long tube install. The throwout bearing is making noise with less than 1000 miles on it.

I wonder if they had a bad batch?

Same happened to me but I used Zoom Stage II race clutch. I just replaced the throwout and pilot bearings with the ford racing ones. I know how it feels to have to do the same job twice just because of a defective part!!

Welcome to throw out bearing hell boys. You need to check the sleve that slides over the input shaft, if that is scarred you will need to replace it or you will constantly be killing the throw out bearing. Either that or get used to a little bit of noise. Mustangs have always been known to wear out throw out bearings prematurely.

yeah I had the same problem with my 94. i had a world class T5 that went through 2 bearings.
now my 04 is on it's 2nd trans, 3rd clutch and 4th throw out bearing. maybe it's my driving.. :D
