Well, the 4.10's are in, and I feel like a kid in a candy store.
It feels like a new car.
Simply amazing.
I'm glad I didn't go with 3.73's, I don't think the difference would have been as noticable and I would have regretted that choice.
I was worried that I would get a set of FRPP's that are now made by Motive, but no worries, I have the American made.
There's goes my gas mileage for awhile while I get over the desire to constantly play with them.

I like my 3.73s. Don't think I would get traction with the S/C otherwise. I already waste my way through first gear!

I agree.
If I had a SC I wouldn't have done the 4.10's.
But since I will probably never be able to supercharge..... :mick:

I lost the ability to drive normal years ago, so I've never worried about fuel mileage. 4.10's FTMFW :mick:

I have my 4.10s ready and waiting on the shelf.

Who in the Austin/SA area can install for a fair price?

I used to have Pyle Bro.s in Baytown do all my old cars. They do good work but pricey.

Lethal did mine for what I thought was a good price. Might check Murrilos though. They are a site sponsor. Lethal was when I got mine done, and yeah, they are 3:73s and made a big difference. I almost wish I went with 3:55s tho. 4:10 would be too much for me

Murillo said 350 with my gears. Sounds high but maybe that is going rate?

A couple places in Houston told me 200.

Leathal did my 410's in the Cobra about a year ago, and charged me $175 plus the gears-great job, no noises or problems.

Congrats! When I put in my .410s I found 1st gear to be pretty much useless unless racing. Then second got so squirly I had to put more meat to the ground, so I installed some BFG KDWs 285s in the rear... now the hook will snap you back in the seat! Now all that's left is ported heads and cams... whoo hoo.. NA power baby!

haha, wait a second, you expect to get gas milage back :omg:

Has never worked for me, and I've geared 3 stangs:) My current setup is nice though 4:30's with a Viper Spec:) Still get shitty milage with the 42's though.

CONGRATS!!:mick: :mick:
You will never not have the desire to "constantly play with them" therefore you will never see good gas mileage again. LOL

I have had my Mystic for 14 months, she has 4.10's and I still "play with them", and I still get shitty gas mileage. LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT TOO!!! :lmao: :lmao:
