Here are some surgery shots and a nice rear quarter shot for reference. There is no bondo in this car almost, only in the seam at the roofline and the front fenders, it is straight :mick:

Darren has a shop, I have a 2 car garage with a freaking post between the garage doors. I finally gave up and took it to a shop to get it finished, ended up going every night and all day on weekends till I got it done, he sprayed it and buffed it, then it has taken 2 years to put it back together.

Last house I had came with that *&%$# post in the middle...stupid design IMO. Regardless man, you dug deep into that '65 and it shows. Excellent looking car

The reason it took so long was I had to pull everything out, then quit early enough to stop and clean up because it shared the garage with the Vert, so you can't just leave the tools and stuff out and surely had to sweep up too.

I bet that was a pain. I like to clean as I go, but if time dont permit, I just lock up and do it the next day

I have a dream of building a small shop in my garage, already have an extra driveway that goes back to the back fence, there is a bass boat back there and we park overflow there when the East Texas group comes over

I wanted to do that when I lived in Killeen. I think eventually I would have got busted for the painting. Kinda surprised I didnt as it was. Glad we moved to the boonies. I dont have to worry about any of that.
