Hey guys, I am looking to buy some Weld draglites for my 1988 Mustang GT.
I think I have figured out the rears.

Draglite 90-Series Wheel
Size: 15 x 8
Rear Spacing: 5-1/2''
Bolt Circle: 4 x 4-1/4'', 4-1/2''

The fronts I am having problems with though. This is going to be an everyday street car so I dont want skinnies but the 15x5's and 15x6's are only sold in a 3.5 backspace which leaves the wheel sticking out of the fenderwell and looks really tacky.
What do you guys think about these specs for the front wheels?

Draglite 90-Series Wheel
Size: 15 x 7
Rear Spacing: 4-1/2''
Bolt Circle: 4 x 4-1/4''/4-1/2''

Do you think the 4.5 BS is going to stick out?
The only other option is to have all 4 of my wheels 15x8's

spending the money for them, I would get skinnies.. it's not worth it otherwise.. oh and you have to be 100x more carefull when driving with them as they bend easily.

i drove with skinnies for quite awhile on mine .. no problems .. just watch out for potholes as the welds will dent and bend quite easily ..... if not, then go with the 15x7 with the 4 1/2" backspace .. u should be fine .. i believe the stock backspace is 4 1/2"

I have driven years on 3 1/2" wide front wheels, never had and issue of any kind, Rain is ok, you just have to change the driving style, don't hard charge into a sharp turn, and don't ride bumpers.

Every wheel and backspacing you listed should work fine.

I have known a lot of guys running skinnies on their daily drivers and none of them ever had a problem. Although like said previously be careful with pot holes and the sort because they will bend and dent.

The only mistake I made while drving on skinnies, was no front sway bar. With stock size wheels i could run no sway bar but with less tire up there the sway bar was required. Still didin't put it on and drove like that for almost 5 years.
