fuel pump

does anyone know the exact location of the fuel pump for a 2000 gt mustang?cause im looking but i cant find it

i would say its in the fuel tank since the tank is the same from 94-04 but could be wrong.

I agree with the above, I think that is where most of them are now, but may be wrong.

alright thanks guys so where would i start if i wanted to put a fuel kill switch???

to get to the wires for the pump you will have to drop the fuel tank, best way to do it its when you almost empty, not as heavy that way. you might check under the carpet dont know if you might have access to the pump that way or not.

nope, theres no access for the tank thru the trunk.

easiest way to put in a kill switch is probly thru the relay wires under the hood, near the battery.

There is already a kill switch on it for if you crash. If you pull the trim in the trunk on the drivers side you will see a little box with a red button. the best way is to wire a switch to that this gives you a manual fuel cut off switch.
