hi i was wondering what my hp gains are from the mods i have so far. i have a CAI, Pypes X-pype, Borla Cat-Back System Exhaust, Motoblue 42% reduction Pully kit, and a SCT tuner with just the preset premium gas tune. Iam also about to get 3.73 gears, an auborn posi trac, and a intake spacer installed.

there is some gain, just not much.. working the motor is where you're going to see the hp.

High compression pistons for n/a aspirated, blower with low compression pistons, stroker kits, are different cut cranks.

motor stuff.
Do you know what a crank is?

well i think i know what the crank is thats the thn that changes the fire rating right?
speedfreak87
03-13-2007, 05:23 PM
no, the crank is what the rods connect to, and the rods are what the pistons connect to. the crank rotates in the block causing the pistons to move.

it doesnt change the fire rating when u change the crank?

it changes the distance the pistons move up and down in the cylinders
speedfreak87
03-13-2007, 05:38 PM
what do you mean change the fire rating?
change the order the pistons fire off in? no.. a stroker just makes the stroke of the piston longer.

yeah thats what i meant the order

pretty much what 5. psycho said also.
The best way to learn is to read and ask alot of questions.. I'm not a pro, but I have a decent knowledge of some stuff, so when I get stuck, I always ask or research it on my own.
