just how important is the front sway bar on a 90 hatchback? any gains or losses that are noticable or and dangers by not having it on?

most likely lots of body roll and handling probably goes to crap

handling goes down the shitter.. but if you're drag racing, the wiegh transfer to the rear is a little better.. that's about it.

well the reason i ask is because my car doesnt have it on right now. i dont wanna go putting it on if it wont really matter right now because im going to put a performance one on eventually anyways. it will be my daily driver by the way.

if you drive normal, yuo shouldn't have anything to worry about, just don't drive to go into a corner hard

No, its not that bad. I am taking mine off either today or tomorrow. If you dont have one, or missing the bushings or whatever you can have mine.

might also give you problems if you ever try to align your car too.

With my 95 there was way to much body roll. However, on my 87 it's not a big deal and have it removed. It is a heavy piece, that's for sure. I do have brand new Energy Suspension end links that are just laying around right next to the sway bar.

What's a front sway bar? :lmao1: :lmao1: Removing it is the first mod I've done to every Stang I've ever owned. All of my cars are driven or can be driven daily. As long as you pay attention to spring rates and shock valving when you are setting up your suspension for the street you will be good to go, if your running stock springs and struts you need that big ole POS they call a sway bar.
