gt40 heads are for a 302(5.0) not a 281(4.6)
and to your original question...gears and exhaust :mick:

Like Zerocool said, the gt40 heads are for pushrod motors, not modular motors.
If you want heads for your car, I would go with the PI heads..

but best bang for the buck, gears and exhaust, for low budget, and heads, cam and a supercharger/turbo for big budget.

350 to the rear wheels for 1500 is awesome. I dont know much about mod motors, but if you can make that kind of power for that amount that is a great deal. I agree with the others though that gears are the best bang for the buck mod

Exhaust, gears, stickies, and a blue bottle.

yeah gears and exhaust really where a good thing to start with. I am lookingat doing a PI ported head/intake ect swap when I get back. I have a 98 gt also. I dont know about it making that much of a improvment though. I dynoed my car stock and she didnt even put down 200hp stock. it ahs gone up since then. unless your geting parts used the heads alone god for that much and thats for PI's if you do that though you need to get the intake, ect. you will be doing a PI conversion. since in 98 the 4.6 didnt flow to well.

good luck to you. maybe i can chat with you more when I get back to the states in about 5 months.

I'd go with some 20" spinners, some under body neon lighting and a poorly fitting primered body kit :pianodan

Gears and exhaust. Wont make alot of power, but it will be quite a difference for the money

gears are best bolt-on bang for the buck on a mod motor
then spray

and u will not make 350 on a 2v...
