hey guys, just wondering if this would be an alright fuel pump for the mustang, right now it has a mechanical on the v6 and the motor i got has the timing cover for an EFI mustang. so would this give me sufficient fuel? i dont know how much pressure id need. i have a edelbrock 650 on it right now.

14 psi might be a little high.. If you get a regulator to bring the pressure down, you should be ok.

I think thats a good price too. Been a while since I ran a carb, but if I remember correctly, I was running an 80 gph mechanical pump on my old Camaro with a 355 and was running low 13's/high 12's so It should be plenty.

5 to 6 psi is all you need.I like the Carter electric pumps better than the Holleys.
5 to 7 psi, dont need regulator,I have been high 10s with one of these.
