My car keeps popping

I have an '89 hatchback with a 306 I just installed a 73 maf with a 70mm tb and it is popping until it reaches around 3k rpms. The mods are as follow: stock crank, stock rods, kb flat top pistons, world prod. alum. heads 202int., 1.60exh., crane cam 530/530 lift w/a 218/220 dur., 19lb inj. w/adj. fuel pres. reg., cobra intake, 4 to 1 headers, world class t5, stock rear end. I am unaware of my timing and fuel pressure seeing as tough it is dark outside.

Need to check the fp and timing.. it sounds like the timing might be off, but then again, your 19lb injectors also might not be enough.. check that stuff, and let us know.

19 # injectors are good to 300 Hp so i would lean more toward timing or fuel pressure. what do you have you pressure set at ?

FP should be around what Hugo said, timing is different for every car, I had my set at 12 deg, and it ran like a champ, but my buddies car ran like shit at 12.. so you have to play with it.

like joey said its easy if you have an adjustable one, im still waiting to get a new one mine went south on me and my pressure is low.
