So I sold My wife's 97 GT to get her a 65 coupe. Her dream car. and it's almost all origional. Numbers matching, but the engine was redone a few years ago with a slightly bigger cam, the internals of the tranny were replaced in 91 too. Other than that she is clean.

We already got some styled wheels for it in the 15" size, so we can convert to front disks. we didnt get them from the company listed in the pic, and we got blue center caps.

got these tires for it, but I think I am going to sell them and finde some white wall ones. I like the look on the car.

anyway, we we got some new parts for it on the way, like new quarterpanel ornaments, new tail lights, new badge kit and the sort.

I was also thinking about putting in a set of GT fog lights, the kits are pretty cheap to buy and I think it would look good.

I am more than certain, we are going to get the bolt kit.....Not sure about the foglights or trumpet exhaust....I wanna see more pics of the exhaust on a car first.

Love the styled steels in 15's. I went with Cragars but had always lusted after a set. Also did the GT trumpets and added a Shelby scoop on my hood. Keeps a stock appearance but adds subtle style :mick:

can you install the trumpet tips without cutting holes in the back?

No you have to have the valance with the holes cut in it. The curve in the pipes is to take it up through the holes in the valance. I haven't gotten mine installed yet since the repaint, so I have holes with the chrome rings but the old chrome tips underneath.

I like the black valve covers and Air cleaner because the 65 block is black, not blue and it looks badass. Yeah, there is a big 2 bbl under that Air Cleaner still :wink:
