Is it cheaper to paint a 91 coupe flat black. I like the look.

Plan is flat black with some new style flames. Name of good shop in sa to get a price. thaks

Contact Darren ( 88GT ) he has a paint and body business in Pipe Creek and does great work.

That won't save alot, and the paint won't be as durable unless you put a low gloss clear over it. Prep is the same in any case, which is 80% of the work. If you prefer the low gloss then I say go for it. But if you want it because it might be cheaper, I say don't do it.

thanks, i do like the old school hot rod look and will look into the cost and the certain design i want.

I have gloss black lightning with real fire done in cobalt blue. It looks pretty dang sharp like that. You can barely see my lightning on the very end.

The lightning is the only one that is mine. The 55 f100 is my dads, the 37 willis is dads friends car, and the t-bird is his sons car.
