flashing airbag lite

ok, i have a little problem here, i have a 91 with a 95 dash in it, on the way to the track friday the tack was jumping and the airbag lite was flashing, but the car ran fine no problems at all, hasnt done this since i did the swap, any ideas

I dont know what the corelation between the tach and air bag light might be if any, but the flashing air bag light is usually an indicator of an issue with the air bag system. Most commonly a broken clock spring. Here is a chart of airbag codes.

thanks, but when the light goes off the tack jumps like 1500 rpm's, and when the light comes on the tack returns to normal

Wow Dan, that's a strange one. Is your srs system even hooked up? I remember thinking you had the crash sensor dissconnected at one time. If you dont get anywhere on it let me know.
